  1. Identify the three autonomic states and recognize what happens in your body, mind, and behavior when you are dysregulated.

  2. Explain why presence is a neurophysiological state, and why dysregulation blocks your capacity to be genuinely present with the person you are coaching.

  3. Apply at least one preparation strategy and one in-the-moment strategy to support your own regulation during a coaching interaction.

  4. Recognize how positional power shapes the nervous system of the person you are coaching, and identify at least one way to actively lower that threat response.
